In honor of celebrating the medals of the special Olympians, NLB Bank organized a gathering with the team of the Special Olympics North Macedonia, who recently returned from the World Special Olympic Games in Berlin with five medals, confirming that when there is a strong will and dedication, there are no limits.
"For us, every single member, representative from our Special Olympics North Macedonia is a winner. Together we showed how with dedication, effort, and hard work, the results are guaranteed. We won five medals, but even more importantly – we won the hearts of those present in Berlin, and I believe also in Macedonia. We are truly proud of all our athletes, partners, helpers, and direct participants in the Special Olympics in Berlin. Congratulations also to the coaches who were with our athletes every moment, supporting them tirelessly. However, no success is easy and it is always harder to do something alone, and it is easier when you have support, someone who believes in you unconditionally, and who selflessly supports you. A huge thank you to NLB Bank, without their unconditional support this year, the World Special Olympics would not have happened. They have stood behind us for years, confirming their social responsibility, dedication to an inclusive society, and equal opportunities for all" – said Monika Boškoska, President of the Special Olympics North Macedonia.

This year, the Macedonian delegation represented 13 athletes at the World Special Olympic Games. From performances in five disciplines: basketball, swimming, badminton, athletics, and table tennis, the Macedonian representatives won a total of five medals – one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
