As part of the Open Day, attendees will have the opportunity to meet athletes and members from Special Olympics North Macedonia and learn firsthand about the activities that Special Olympics is implementing in the country aimed at promoting inclusion and personal development through sports. Through the realization of the Open Day, Special Olympics North Macedonia encourages families with members with intellectual disabilities to support their loved ones to join the Special Olympics and through their participation in sports activities to promote their more active engagement in society.

Sports can help them develop their abilities, gain self-confidence, and feel included in the community.
